Med Serhat to Join YMN Tanker Management Fleet

After joining of the tankers Med Tuncer & Med Emre under YMN Tanker Management in 2019, Med Pakize is the first tanker joining YMN Tanker Management in 2020. All three vessels went under  the YMN Tanker management straight from the shipyards where they were built.

YMN Tanker is expanding its fleet with newly-built 8400DWT chemical tankers. The company offers versatile options to its clients with varying ship lengths under the same tonnage enabling it to provide services to greater number of terminals with certain size restrictions.

The new member, Med Serhat, is another 8400DWT chemical tanker just like her sisters operating under YMN Tanker’s fleet. Med Serhat was successfully launched at Ereğli Shipyard and expected to join the fleet within the first half of 2020.

Cargo area is divided to 12 cargo tanks by means of oil-tight corrugated transverse bulkheads and longitudinal bulkhead in CL. Vessels are also equipped with 2 slop tanks on deck. Designation of full segregation gives the vessel high flexibility.

YMN Tanker presently has 11 chemical/oil tankers under its management and three more units are expected to join the fleet reaching a total of 14 vessels in near future.
