YMN Tanker is the second largest tanker manager in the world in terms of the number of 8400 DWT tankers in its fleet. The company currently has a fleet of 11 tankers eight of which are 8400 DWT chemical tankers. Two more are under construction and will join the fleet soon.
YMN Tanker recently welcomed Med Serhat, another 8400 DWT tanker, in its fleet. Her sisters Med Tuncer & Med Emre joined YMN Tanker’s fleet in 2019 and Med Pakize in 2020.
The newest member, Med Blue Jay, is another 8400DWT chemical tanker and she was successfully launched at Atlas Shipyard on the 7th of July, 2020. She is expected to join the fleet early 2021. She will be fitted with ballast water treatment management system.

All 8400 DWT vessels under YMN Tanker Management’s fleet are single screw, double hull ice 1A vessels coated with Marine Line enabling it to carry a wide range of liquid cargoes, petroleum products, chemicals and vegetable oils. Cargo area is divided to 12 cargo tanks by means of oil-tight corrugated transverse bulkheads and longitudinal bulkhead in CL. Vessels are also equipped with 2 slop tanks on deck. Designation of full segregation gives the vessel high flexibility.
