It is crucial for YMN Tanker to invest in the training and education of both its onshore and onboard employees. To accommodate this, a 5-day training was held at the YMN Tanker's office from October 16 through October 20, 2023. The training was provided by the BV Class Training and Owner Assistance Manager Captain Chrys Chrysostomidis. Over the course of 5 days, multiple cadets, captains, chief engineers, and office personnel attended the training.

Topics such as:

•              Navigation & Maritime Assessor,

•              Train the Trainer,

•              Behavioral Based Safety and Competency Assessments,

•              Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation,

•              MLC Auditor,

have been taught to the attendees. To conduct and research case studies based on actual instances and occurrences in the industry, groups of attendees were formed.
